Jane Manley, Principal

I am excited to begin my career as a principal at Fremont School. I have been in the education field for 28 years, teaching all grades in K-6 schools at one time or another. I spent many years as a language specialist for Modesto City Schools and had the opportunity to travel to many of our schools, coaching teachers as they improved their skills.

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish from UC Davis, a teaching credential from CSU Sacramento, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from CSU Stanislaus. I am originally from Sunnyvale, California and have lived in Modesto since 1981.

My husband Ricardo and I have raised two wonderful daughters, Mariana and Emily, who are proud Open Plan alumni and are now in college. I enjoy reading, community service, and spending time with my friends and family.
